How to make your own energy drink… cheap.
I am tired of spending way too much money on energy drinks. So, instead of quitting, like the rest of the quitters out there, I took the road less traveled. Well, that’s probably not accurate but it makes me feel better. After searching on the internet, I ran across this video and it is genius! You can watch the video, or just follow these simple steps:
- Go to Walmart, or Bed Bath and Beyond, and buy this: SodaStream Energy ($7). They have regular and no sugar – choose your poison.
- Now go to the soft drink aisle and buy some plain ole’ soda water. It may be called club soda, or seltzer water ($2). (this is the advantage of Walmart over BBB, because you can get both)
- Measure out .2 to .25 ml, indicated by the cap, of the SodaStream, into a cup of ice.
- Add soda water to taste.
- Go start a revolution with your newfound energy and the money you have just saved!
You should be able to get 25 drinks out of the SodaStream, but you will need to replenish the soda water a few times.
That’s it! Quite simple and it tastes great and is way cheaper than buying a Red Bull.
